Toby Rice

Toby Rice was named President and Chief Executive Officer and joined EQT’s Board of Directors in July 2019. He has served as a Partner at Rice Investment Group, a multi-strategy fund investing in all verticals of the oil and gas sector since May 2018. Prior to that, Toby was President, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors of Rice Energy from October 2013 until its acquisition by EQT for $6.7B in November 2017. He served in a number of positions with Rice Energy, its affiliates, and predecessor entities since February 2007, including President and Chief Executive Officer of a predecessor entity from February 2008 through September 2013.

Stacey McDonald

Ms. McDonald is an experienced executive and corporate director with over 15 years of experience working in capital markets with expertise focused on Energy, Natural Resources and growth companies.
She joined GMP Securities in the equity research department in 2006 and spent ten years as a sell-side Equity Analyst focused on the exploration and production sector. She was most recently a Managing Director of Institutional Energy Research at GMP FirstEnergy (now Stifel Canada), a leading independent global energy investment bank.
Ms. McDonald is an independent Board of Director for Birchcliff Energy and Bonterra Energy

Jonathan FARBER

Jonathan Farber is co-founder and a Managing Director of Lime Rock. He began his career in 1990 in the Investment Research Department of Goldman Sachs. During his career at Goldman Sachs, he served as both a securities analyst covering the U.S. and Canadian E&P sector and as a vice president in the Investment Banking Division where he was involved in private equity and large M&A transactions. He co-founded Lime Rock in 1998. Jonathan is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University (BSFS). He is based in Westport, Connecticut and maintains an office in Houston. Jonathan leads the Lime Rock Partners team’s efforts in the global E&P sector. He currently serves on the board of directors of Arena Energy, Cor4 Oil, CrownRock, CrownRock Minerals, and San Jacinto Minerals. He is also on the investment committee of Lime Rock Resources. He previously served on the board of directors of Arena Exploration, Augustus Energy Partners, Augustus Energy Partners II, Black Shire Energy, Coronado Resources, Deer Creek Energy, Laricina Energy, LMP Exploration Holdings, PDC Mountaineer, RMP Energy, Torex Resources, U.S. Exploration Holdings, Vantage Energy, Vantage Energy II, and Venture Production.

Deanna Zhang

Deanna Zhang is a Director at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. She leads energy technology banking for the firm, covering clients in areas such as oil and gas software, industrial technology, new environmental infrastructure, and alternative energy. She is responsible for deal origination and execution, performing industry and company research, and providing thought leadership in the energy technology space. She has written over a hundred articles on the topics of energy transition and technology. Prior to covering energy technology for TPH Banking, she covered energy technology for TPH Research. Deanna holds a BA in Statistics from Yale University.

Cully Cavness

President & Co-Founder at Crusoe Energy. Cully is an energy industry professional with a passion for innovative environmental solutions. He is the President and Co-Founder of Crusoe Energy. Cully was formerly Vice President of Finance at Highlands Natural Resources, a private equity-sponsored exploration and production company with operations in Colorado and Montana. While at Highlands, Cully's role included responsibility for commodities sales and marketing, which exposed him to the industry's challenges with flaring. Cully was previously an oil and gas investment banker at Petrie Partners, a boutique finance firm servicing upstream and midstream clients. Before that Cully worked in technical business development roles in the geothermal power generation industry domestically and internationally. Cully holds an undergraduate degree in geology from Middlebury, an MBA from Oxford and completed a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship researching the "triangle of E's" (Energy-Environment-Economics) principally in China, Iceland, Spain, and Argentina. Cully is an avid endurance athlete, and has completed various ultra long distance events including IronMan Zurich, North Face Endurance Challenge, the Death Race and Maah Daah Hey 100.

Justin ballard

Justin is a founding partner of JAI Energy LLC bringing his extensive experience raising capital and working in the oil and gas business to the Bitcoin mining industry. Prior to starting JAI, Justin worked for 11 years as an attorney and landman at multiple operators in basins across the country. Formerly, Justin served as the Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Land at Century Oil and Gas, LLC, a private equity backed Powder River Basin focused operator out of Houston, Texas. While at Century, Justin successfully negotiated and closed on multiple acquisitions valued at over $16 million and was also responsible for handling all legal and land related operational matters. Justin also previously served as General Counsel and Vice President of Acquisitions and Divestitures at Sponte Resources; a Dallas based operator targeting production of natural gas in East Texas. He also spent time at Indigo Minerals and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation where he gained experience in everything from midstream and gathering contracts to complex acquisitions and divestitures. Overall, during his career, Justin has successfully closed on over $150 million worth of acquisitions and funding commitments through private equity groups or other private capital sources.

Marty Bent

Marty Bent is the founder of TFTC.io, a media company focused on Bitcoin and Freedom in the Digital Age. On top of this, Marty is a Venture Partner at Ten31, a Bitcoin-only venture fund focused on investing in infrastructure that will bring bitcoin to the masses. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Fortress Technologies, a Bitcoin company that develops and operates world-class bitcoin mining infrastructure. Previously, he served as the Director of Business Development at Great American Mining. If you'd like to post ASAP, you can go with this bio. Chuck Yates

Mr. Yates was previously Co-Head and Managing Partner for the energy private equity group within Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.  He's currently on the Advisory Board for Cottonwood Venture Partners. Mr. Yates began his career at Stephens Inc., an integrated merchant and investment bank.  Mr. Yates earned a B.A. in Political Science and an M.B.A. from Rice University.

Collin McLElland

From a roughneck in West Texas to founder of Digital Wildcatters, Collin has been in the oil industry over 10 years and worked on offshore and land operations across the Western Hemisphere. He’s passionate about the the future of energy technology and the people that are making it happen.

Max Gagliardi

Co-founder of Ancova Energy. Host of the Talk.Energy Podcast Max is an entrepreneur with a track record of starting and growing multiple businesses across Energy Marketing, Midstream, Consulting, Real Estate, and Digital Media. Prior to forming Ancova in 2014, Mr. Gagliardi held commercial and financial roles at multiple corporations. He has participated in a variety of roles on deal teams for over $16 billion in M&A transactions across the Energy Industry. Max has a BS and MBA from Oklahoma State University, he is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and currently lives in Edmond with his wife and three sons.
